I am so sorry to not be able to make Aunt Barbara's service. She was a great aunt and godmother, even when we didn't agree on some church issues. I have so many precious memories. My sympathy to all of you.

My family and I got to know Barbara for 4 wonderful months. We were new to this neighborhood and she made us feel very welcomed. I enjoyed chatting with her almost everyday. We couldn’t have asked for a sweeter neighbor. We will miss you! So happy to have known such a wonderful woman.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you all. Through the years I have bumped into Mrs. Russell shopping and just seen her a few months ago twice. My husband and I had a lovely conversation with her. We talked about how our first apartment was in her home. She talked highly of all her children and where everyone lived. We shared a lot of common things, even how our son's work office is in the Rakow Library where she once worked. We always ended with talking about Jesus, and she was happy to know that we had come to accept and love the Lord!
God Bless You All

Linda, Thank you for the kind words. It is funny Mom and I were just talking a couple of weeks ago about all the people that had rented the apartment over the years and how alot of the families had become great friends over the years.
