John was a very good friend of mine. If there was anything I needed, he'd be over in a heartbeat to help. Whether it be a ride, to meet for coffee with friends, or just someone to talk to. He was not the type of person to get into arguments, he played it kool and was just one of the nicest people in the world, very down to earth. I lived in Corning, NY for 10 years and thank God he sent me an angel to pass the time. The picture I posted was from my visit to Corning, NY in summer of 2012. This was the last time I seen John in person with my 2 sons. I send my condolences out to the family. He'll be watching over you from heaven, no doubt about it.

To my Dad"D",
First I want to say, it is not lost on me that you chose July 4th to be the day you took your last breath! I KNOW how proud you were for being a Marine! Second, I will NEVER be able to express what it meant to be able to have one last night, spent at your house with you! It had been way too many years, but yet it felt like no time had passed at all! Everything in that house felt like a time warp back to 1996. You have always treated as your own. 24 years later you still loved me in the same exact way! I gave my first son your name, because you are the very best parts of him. And I promise you, he was raised knowing this. He is so much like you, and is so proud to carry your name, because of you! You had always made sure that he and I were taken care of, and I promise Johnathan will ALWAYS know his roots, and I will be sure to continue sharing all of the wonderful memories we have had with you. Thank you for allowing me to always be your first Daughter!
